A Bean Harvest

(Draft written 14th June)

Yes, the garden has produced more than salad leaves this year – I harvested a bunch of tender baby broad bean pods which we ate on Sunday with some steak and chips (plus carrotts and peas) – starnge combination perhaps but that’s just how it worked out.

The peas are in flower so we should have some mangetout soon, and the broad bean pods will soon be big enough for shelling. Some tomtoes both inside and out are set but they are a while off being ready to eat.
